Mogwai and Ray Lamontagne approve use of their music in ‘A Warrior’s Religion’!

For quite some time now I have been trying to find music that will not only aid the emotional visual content of the film’s metaphorical scenes, but to also find music that I believe have the same messages.

Mogwai, one of the world’s most influential post-rock bands, have approved the use of their amazing music in my film.  It was a lot of long distance phones calls and lengthy emails, but suffice it to say, it was truly worth it.

Chrysalis Music Group, the publishing rights holder for the specific Mogwai track, was coincidentally the same rights holder of a particular Ray Lamontagne song.  With the paperwork and rapport already established, the signing of a second song was a much smoother transition

Ray Lamontagne is truly an amazing song writer/singer.  The emotional song lyrics combined with an emotionally filled voice singing them leaves you in utter amazement.

Shoutouts to Mogwai and Ray Lamontagne for taking time to check out my project and once again approving use of their music for my film,

And a very special thank you to Jessica Hobbs and Ian Scott of Chrysalis Music Group.

p.s. still waiting to hear back from a few more artists
